Created for Greatness

 👑 Your Identity…

Who does God say you are? Have you worked this out?

As we grow up many of us have our identities formed by what others say about us… who we are surrounded by… the grades we get in school… how good we are on the sports field or how popular we perceive ourselves to be.

Brothers and sisters, have you ever thought about for a minute – I mean REALLY thought about the fact that you and only you have the set of fingerprints God gave you?? And I believe you and only you can do what God has created and fashioned you to do on this earth!

I believe that God will equip you with everything you need for the call He has placed on your life.

So, if you are sitting there thinking…

“I’m not smart enough to…”

“I don’t have enough money to…”

“I’m not talented enough to…”

“I haven’t been a follower of Jesus for long enough to…”

I need you to repeat after me for a moment…

I (I)

Will (will)

Not (not)

Put (put)

Limits (limits)

On (on)

God (God)

📦We can not and should not put God in a box. He is the creator of the Universe! He is omnipotent (having great power and influence) and omniscient (knowing everything) and so if He is calling you, He will provide all you need to complete your mission before you!

God is so faithful!

👋🏼Did you know that you have been given a set of fingerprints that are unique to only YOU?! No other human that ever sets foot on this planet will have your fingerprints! And guess what? No other human has been created with your unique combination of gifts and strengths t0 do what He has created and purposed you to do! Now is NOT the time to be shy as we are called to live in a wild time in history and every day counts for us to shine the love of our Savior to those around us!

😇As believers, we know how the story ends but for right now we need to remember that we are in the midst of an intense spiritual battle and every day we need to get ourselves dressed in the armour of  God and go after what He has put in our hearts to say, to do, and to be!

Many of us have been feeling like we’ve been running uphill in a marathon that has no end in site but I want to encourage you that Jesus says that His yoke is light – so if you feel burdened I encourage you to sit at His feet and ask Him to make a trade with whatever you are carrying that ISN’T yours to carry and lay it down in exchange for what His heart is for you to carry so that we may finish the race well!

2 Timothy 4:7 – ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith’

In ministry opportunities in the past the Lord has had me walk the person through a prophetic act of literally writing down what is burdening them and place the papers in a bag/box/backpack and literally hand them to me as we pray over them and release them to Jesus – who is we know more than capable than carrying it all! I encourage you to take quiet time with Jesus, put on some soaking music and ask Holy Spirit to speak to your heart and reveal what you are carrying and need to release. If you wish to have someone you trust to walk you through this process, I encourage you to do this soon – and I’m always here and willing to spend time to work through this with you as well – it would be an honour.

2 Cor 3:17amp
‘Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom]’.

Let’s not live in fear, but be bold in believing God is who He says He is, and we are who He says we are shall we?! For such a time as this… we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a broken and hurting world.

In closing – I wanted to share this quote that is over 300 years old by John Wesley…

“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.” ~ John Wesley

Be blessed brothers and sisters 😊 Praying for you!

May our God bless you!
