Have you noticed how your posture and position change your perspective? When you see from a different vantage point, or through a different lens you see differently altogether, and often what you’re looking at changes as you understand differently, know differently. In the light of His gaze, everything shifts. It’s like the whole world bends toward beauty again. When our eyes are locked on His face, we stop seeing life through our mess and start seeing it through His heart. “Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” When we turn toward Him, really turn, the light from His face hits our chaos and suddenly, even the wreckage glows. “The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.” The Holy Spirit moves like light through a prism, splitting open ordinary days into technicolour glory. The world catches fire. “In the last days, I will pour out My Spirit on all people.” And us? We’ve got no business seeing from any other angle. We are children of light, sons and daughters of the King. That means we’ve got a seat at the table, peace as our portion, not as guests, but as heirs. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” “The Lord blesses His people with peace.” Still, we forget. We default to striving, self-sufficiency, and come up empty. “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” And from distraction, anxiety washes over us. What if? What now? What then? Our hearts pulled in every direction by fears that never belonged to us in the first place. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” But when we choose to fix our eyes, really fix them, on the steady strength of His face, when we look at our lives through the lens of the Father’s heart, everything changes. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” The what-ifs turn into wide-open, God-sized possibilities. Time and history lose their grip. Our past no longer calls the shots. Yesterday loses its ability to define tomorrow, and we begin to notice… He’s here. All around. In every breath. Covering us in love that doesn’t flinch when the storms hit. “You hem me in behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon me.” Fear doesn’t stand a chance in this kind of presence. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear.” In the light of His face, everything changes. In the light of His grace, redemption flows like water. We are children of light, a people set apart, marked by mercy. “For He Himself is our peace.” Peace is not a luxury, or a someday entity, It’s our inheritance. “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.” “Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.”

But to carry it, to live in it, we must posture our hearts. Eyes lifted. Faces set like flint.
No more drifting. Laser-locked on Jesus – and no looking back.

This Is Causing Your Delay
This might be a confirmational word for someone. If you have been asking the Lord why you seem to not move forward and why you seem to be delaying and being stuck. It might be because you are resisting what God has already shown you and asked you to do without fully...
