Prophetic Word – How Does Fruit Grow? (28 July 2022)

The Lord gave this prophetic word for me to release for the body of Christ today. We often can get caught up being too concerned regarding the fruit we carry for Him, but Jesus is the one who helps us produce fruit as we remain in Him and in His teachings. Here is the word the Lord gave me that I read in the video:

God said: “Fruit takes time before it appears on a tree. A fruit tree starts off as a tiny seed which is planted in fertile soil. The seed is watered, nurtured and allowed to grow. In due time the seed becomes a small tree. The soil continues to be watered, fertilized and nurtured to enable the tree to continue growing. This process continues until it becomes a fully grown tree. It looks beautiful, healthy, and pleasing to the eye. But is fruit found on it yet?

Does it not take a number of years before that fruit tree starts to produce fruit? Between it being fully grown and producing fruit, it still undergoes pruning, fertilization, watering, and nurturing. It is also exposed to the elements. It has to withstand wind, thunder, rain, hail and pests in order to continue survival. But if the tree is looked after, it is able to grow and produce the best of fruits.

There are various fruit trees. All of them with their own characteristics. Some grow quickly and produce fruit quicker than others. Others grow slowly and have greater capacity to carry much fruit. Likewise with My people. Each of you is a unique “fruit tree” with different characteristics. Some of you grow quickly in Me, others grow slower in Me. I know each “tree” and I alone know what is needed in each tree’s planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning and nurturing.

I am the Gardner who works who works with you, in you and around you to get you to a stage of great fruit production. It takes time and it is a process. It cannot be rushed. Your fruits will show in due time. Do not rush My processes. I know how to work with you My masterpieces. All you have to do is remain in Me and you will bear fruit. Apart from Me you can do nothing. Surrender to My will. I work all things for good.”
