Someone Needs To Hear This Today – You Are Not Alone

Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Someone needs to hear this today…

You are not alone.

Isaiah 43:2 (NIV) – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

You might be feeling pressed down, squeezed in from all sides, cornered, lifeless, discouraged, hopeless – but God has not left you. Even though you might need to walk through the fire, God says that the flames will not set you ablaze.

Take courage, stand strong, your help is never far away…

Psalm 121 (NIV) – I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel with neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

We always have a choice between faith or fear. Both require a belief in something that will happen that has not yet occurred. However, the outcome and effect of the belief are what make the difference. The enemy likes to shout and make a scene, that is why fear is always loud. It sometimes seems louder than faith, and that is why many align with fear instead of faith. Faith is peaceful, calm, and restful, that is why it is sometimes overlooked when a choice needs to be made between the two.

If you think about two types of people – a very loud and boisterous person, and a very quiet and reserved person. Who is the one who tends to get more attention? Is it not the person who is loud and brings attention to himself? Likewise with fear. People align more with fear because it is sometimes hard to ignore, but they miss the wisdom that comes from the peaceful, restfulness of faith.

Choose this day who you will serve. You cannot be aligned with one and have the other. Choose faith over fear. For God said this in Hebrews 13:5 (NIV) – “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you never will I forsake you”.

So, stand strong my brothers and sisters. This too shall pass. Fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author, and Finisher of your faith. Be strong and courageous, He will come through. satan is just trying to rattle your cage to get you out of faith and into fear. Don’t give the enemy an inch.

Be blessed 😊
