Prophetic Repost: “Shaking” & “Correction Has Begun”

Hi 😊,

The Lord gave me two prophetic words in 2019, a couple months prior to the pandemic. The Lord has been speaking to me the past few weeks about more shakings and storms that are coming. Today He prompted me to repost the two prophetic words from 2019, as they are very appicable for now. You can read them below…

A word of encouragement for the body of Christ: Shakings – 29 May 2019

“I love how personal the Lord is and how He speaks in so many creative and different ways. Through His Word, His voice, nature, signs, number plates, songs etc. But I have to say, I thoroughly enjoy how He just simply interrupts your day so unexpectedly to give a word to share for others.

Over the past few months God has been sharing with me and emphasising His beautiful heart’s desire for His children to really come out of “the ways” of the world. Many in the body of Christ have become complacent and have followed the ways of the world and what man says rather than what God’s Word says. Many have even “twisted” and taken God’s Truth out of context to fit their own agendas and lifestyles. Many have been wilfully participating in wickedness that have been contaminating body, soul and spirit. Many have used His beautiful grace as a “free ticket” to live the way they want too instead of living lives fully surrendered to Him. Many have put their trust in things build by man and the world instead of putting their trust in God’s Word, His leading and His nature. Many have been living in these ways due to ignorance.

He is encouraging the body of Christ to come out of those things now and to come back to His Word. To put their full trust and hope in Him and Him alone. This is for our benefit, not His. This is not to bring condemnation but conviction. He loves us incredibly. Living in the “mixture” with the world’s way, have put many of His precious children back in a place of wilful “bondage” instead of them fully walking in the freedom that Christ bought for them on the cross.

God has been speaking to me that he is going to bring about a “shaking” in the earth that will “shake” these “worldly” and “man established” things. Things that are not build on Him and His Word. It is not to bring fear in the hearts of man but instead He is coming to “shake” things that are not of Him to bring us back to a place of reverence and “awe” of who He is, His love and His glory. He said to me:

“I am the Glory, I am the Light. I am God Almighty, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega. There is none like Me. I am the Light of the world, there is no other. I do as I please with the nations and peoples of the earth. I have the final say. I shake the foundations of the earth. Everything that is not of Me is being shaken. I am establishing new foundations that are built by Me and Me alone.

I am who I am, there is no other. The Great King, there is no one before Me. I am bringing a shaking. People will tremble, nations will fall to their knees at the sound of My voice. At the sound of My roar. Nothing can stand against Me. I have come now, My glory awaits.

The song “This Is Amazing Grace” from Phil Wickham started playing in my heart as He was speaking.

He gave me John 3:16 and 1 Peter 2:16:

John 3:16 (NIV) – For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 Peter 2:16 (NIV) – Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.

I felt God’s heart full of love when He spoke these words. The “tremble” and “fall to their knees” was out of reverence and awe of Him. Showing that He is God, and not “worldly things”. He loves us incredibly and wants us to live our lives built on His love, His nature and His truth which cannot be shaken. As the body of Christ, He is encouraging us to come up higher to a place of 1 Peter 2:16. Let us always be a people that want to continuously pursue deeper intimacy with Him.

This second part will not be for everyone:

I know there are many of us who have fought some really intense battles over the past few months, but it seems to have really intensified recently. Especially for those who have been going through the “wilderness season” and now entering their “promised land”. Crying out to God for His will and to do things His way and for His timing, but the challenges just seem to be never ending and intensifying. It is kind of like a tug of war going on within you, one moment you stand strong, the next you are in despair and weariness and feel like you can’t keep going. You struggle to keep holding on to His promises and lies from the enemy have been challenging you about God’s nature and whether He will come through. Don’t despair!! Keep going!! This is only happening because your deliverance is here. The enemy always ramps up his game as a last defence, trying to keep you out of faith and believing for what God has spoken to you. Don’t fall for it and don’t give in! Help is on the way! God has been speaking to me a lot the recently that His help and deliverance is coming now without delay. He said to me:

“I am the Great Vindicator. I come to fight for My children. Who can stand against Me? Let him show himself! He will be put to shame. I am the Lord God Almighty clothed with wonder, splendour and righteousness. Who can stand against Me? With My strong arm I am coming to deliver those who are fully committed to Me. Those with no agendas of their own. I will bless them for their good works. I am fair and righteous. The time is now, there is no more delay. Be ready.”

He gave me:

Psalm 24:7-8 (NIV) – Lift up your heads you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Psalm 24:9 (Passion Translation) – …Here He comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in.

When the battles rage, go into your secret resting place in Him. Resting in God is key. Focus on Him. Don’t just take the punches from the enemy! Praise your Heavenly Father, praise Him, praise Him, worship Him, worship Him and worship some more. Stand on His Word, His truth and His nature. Speak God’s Word against the lies from the enemy and watch them fall! If you are really so weary that you have no strength to praise/worship etc. Pray and ask Jesus to be your strength, your endurance, your perseverance and to hold on for you as you can’t anymore.  And ask Him to just let you rest in His loving strong arms while He holds on for you and then just focus on Him. You will be amazed at His peace, strength and presence that will surround and empower you so that you can get going again.

A word of advice: let go of your expectations and embrace disappointments. These words God spoke to me before my “season” commenced. It has helped me so much to keep going and see His faithfulness. We have in our minds expectations of how we think God will do something or how we think He will come through for us. When those expectations aren’t met the way we think they are to be met, we get disappointed and feel God doesn’t come through and lets us down. When the truth is, He does come through. He always does! That is His nature. He is forever faithful and loves us incredibly. We just sometimes miss when He comes through because we are so focussed on our ways and expectations and not open to the different ways He does things. I sometimes wonder how many times He has done such amazing things for us and we miss it and we don’t give Him thanks and glory for it because we put it down as coincidence or luck. It breaks my heart. Let us be a people who take Him at His Word and have our eyes open for the unexpected. He is limitless and does things His way and in His perfect timing. He is never late and won’t let us down.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV) – “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways”, declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Psalm 27:14 (NIV) – Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NIV) – The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.”

A word for the body of Christ: “God is grieved, correction has begun” – 27 July 2019

“Recently I heard the Lord say that He was grieved, and correction has begun. As I sat with the Lord asking Him to elaborate on what He was saying, He led me to Haggai 1:2-11 (NIV):

2This is what the Lord Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come for the Lord’s house to be built.’ “ 3 Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: 4”Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your panelled houses, while this house remains a ruin?” 5Now this is what the Lord Almighty says:” Give careful thought to your ways. 6You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” 7This is what the Lord Almighty says:” Give careful thought to your ways. 8Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honoured,” says the Lord. 9“You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of My house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house. 10Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. 11I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labour of your hands.”

Many in the body of Christ have become complacent in their walk with Him. Many have turned away from following Him wholeheartedly and have instead pursued their own ways and directions, not seeking Him and His direction for their lives. Many have given way to wickedness in their lives and have been willingly pursuing such avenues. Many have chosen the “ways of the world” over His ways. This grieves His heart immensely. He loves us tremendously and knows the destruction we invite into our lives by living in these ways instead of following Him wholeheartedly. Each one of us is His “house”, where the Holy Spirit resides in. We sometimes forget that He is the God of justice and we reap what we sow.

Galatians 6:7-9 (NIV) Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what He sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Genesis 4:7 (NIV) If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.

As a loving Father, He is now bringing correction and discipline to these ones in order to turn their hearts wholeheartedly back to Him. Don’t be discouraged by the correction and discipline. It is done out of love. Repent, turn back to Him. He is so gracious and merciful. You will find His arms wide open to embrace and receive you. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 12:5-6 (NIV) 5And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, 6because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and he punishes everyone He accepts as a son.
