I heard the Lord say, “I am going to keep you steady as you remain focused on Me.” Then the Lord showed me a picture of a person, and they were on a floating balancing board on water. Right in front of them was a wall with a Target. The whole point for this person was to keep balance on this board on the waters with their eyes fixed on that Target. When they kept their eyes fixed on that Target, they were able to balance. The waters changed with different turbulent frequencies, and at some point, the waters became so turbulent that this person started to shake in their body. They began to shuffle around their legs, trying to keep balance on the board, really struggling and almost falling into the water. Then I heard a voice from a person saying to them, “Eyes up, look at the Target. Focus on the Target and nothing else.” The person then refocused their eyesight on the Target, but they were still focusing on how to balance, so they remained wobbly on the object that was floating. The person then said, “Stop focusing on balancing. Just focus on the Target and keep your eyes fixed on it.” As the person did that—when they stopped thinking about balancing themselves and focused all their attention on the Target—their breathing started to slow down. They took deeper breaths, and their breathing became more stable and steady. When that happened, their legs also became more stable and steady. Even though the waters remained very turbulent, this person could balance very well, as they were laser-focused on the Target. Some of you right now might feel like you are in a very turbulent situation and feeling quite unsteady and unbalanced in yourself, whether it be in your emotions or struggling to focus on Jesus or just feeling really unsteady. The Lord is encouraging you to refocus and realign all your attention and focus back onto Him. Do not try to keep things balanced in your own strength or effort. As you focus on Him and realign your attention on Him, you will regain that stability and steadiness, and He will keep you steadfast. Isaiah 26:3 in the New King James Version , “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You.” My beautiful God, Lord, we thank You so much that You keep us steady in turbulent times. Thank You, Lord, that as we refocus and realign with You, nothing else matters because we don’t need to keep ourselves up in our own self-effort. When we focus on You, You give us the strength we need, Lord, to keep ourselves steady. Lord, I pray for whoever is struggling to keep themselves balanced. I pray that Your peace, which transcends understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord. Help them, Daddy God, to refocus on You and keep their eyes on You the whole time, Jesus, and not on the turbulent waters that are surrounding them. In Jesus’ most holy and powerful name, amen. This Is Causing Your Delay
This might be a confirmational word for someone. If you have been asking the Lord why you seem to not move forward and why you seem to be delaying and being stuck. It might be because you are resisting what God has already shown you and asked you to do without fully...
