Prophetic word-Let The Cart Roll

This vision might be applicable to a specific person or a few people in the body of Christ. You will know if this word is for you because it will resonate with your journey, and you will also know that the Lord has been speaking to you about it. So, if this word resonates with your spirit, take it to the Lord and ask Him for confirmation. 

What the Lord showed me was a very steep hill, and a person was trying to push a cart up it. The cart had two wheels and was filled with various objects. This person struggled and strained to push the cart up the hill. The further they went, the harder it became to move the cart, as it would catch on rocks and not move quickly. I saw the person sweating and exerting all their effort, moving slowly because of the burden they were pushing. 

Then the Lord said, “Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit,” (Zechariah 4:6)  says the Lord of hosts.

The revelation I received was that the contents of the cart were things that seemed important to this person. At one time, these things might have been good or even godly things they nurtured, built, or worked on. Now, these items were from a previous season. The person was trying to carry them into the next phase, but the Lord said to let it go. I saw the person standing still while the cart rolled away, and they felt relief as they no longer had to push the cart up the hill. Although there was some sorrow over the effort invested in the cart’s contents, they turned around and could freely walk up the hill. 

The Lord wants to encourage you that you don’t need everything you think you need for where He’s leading you next. If the Lord has asked you to let go of certain things or past seasons, do not be afraid. Whatever God has for you at the top of that hill does not require those things. Sometimes, our human rationalization makes us think we need to take everything with us, but these things can delay our progress and cause unnecessary effort because we rely on our own strength rather than His. The Lord says it’s not by might nor by power but by His Spirit. He will accomplish what He has planned for you through His Spirit, and He doesn’t need the things in your cart. 

Sit with the Lord and ask Him what’s in your cart that you need to unpack. Ask Him what things are slowing you down so you can move forward with Him into this next season unhindered. Many things are changing, and shifting, and we need to follow the Lord’s direction. Do not be afraid to let go because the Lord is with you. 

My beautiful God, I thank You so much for this vision and word. I pray for my brothers and sisters who might be trying to carry things into a new season where You are calling them higher. Help their hearts not to rely on human rationalization but to let go of things they’ve invested time and effort in. Help them to be okay with releasing these things because You never ask us to let go of something we need for the next steps. If You’re asking us to let go, it means those things are not applicable for the next season. I pray that You would help them realize this and give them the freedom to avoid overexerting themselves in their own strength.
