The Lord gave me a prophetic word to share with the body of Christ today. If this word resonates with your spirit, take it to the Lord and ask Him for confirmation for your season. Always take everything to Him; don’t assume prophetic words are specifically for you without seeking His confirmation. The Lord will speak to each person individually and then confirm His words to you.
Here is what the Lord said:
“My boat rockers, come forth. Those of you carrying My banner and torches to shed light on truth, I am giving you a spirit of courage and boldness in this hour to stand up, to speak up, to no longer remain silent when I call you forth to speak My truth in situations.
As far as it depends on you, live in peace with everyone. Do not start quarrels nor add fuel to fires, but rather, in meekness, gentleness, lowliness, and humility, stand for My word and My truth. Do not speak out of presumption or assumption. Do not speak out of judgment, criticism, or self-righteousness. Examine your own heart and intent before you speak.
When you speak My words, speak from a place of love. Even My judgments carry a way for repentance. Do not speak as the world speaks. The world speaks harshly, crudely, assumptively, and self-righteously. Not so with you.
If you act and speak as the world does, how will they distinguish you as Mine? You are not to act or speak like the world.
If your brother or sister sins, go speak to them privately. If they do not listen, take two or three others with you and speak to them again. If they still don’t listen and repent, then take it before the church.
Being My boat rocker does not mean you publicly expose, judge, or condemn another, especially if you have made no attempt to address them privately and learn the truth. If you judge and treat others this way, be mindful that you will be judged by the same measure you deal out.
When you speak My truth from My word, it is in opposition to that which is contrary to My word and not based on your dislikes of another. No person is perfect in what they do or say all the time. A good person will bring forth good fruit in their words and deeds, even if they do not say or do everything perfectly.
A person who loves and knows Me will have a repented, pliable heart, turning from sin and aiming to do what is right. A truly corrupt person will bear bad fruit in their words and deeds most of the time. They may try to cover it up with right talk here and there, but the fruit they produce is bad. Such a person does not know Me.
Be mindful to present Me well in your conduct. My truth will only cut through when it comes from a pure heart and pure motives. When you bring My truth from a place of judgment, criticism, and condemnation, it lands differently and will not be received the same way. It is hypocritical for you to bring truth in the same way and dishonour My truth with your actions.
When you bring forth My truth, it is to win back your brother or sister, turning them away from a path that can lead to destruction. Remember, My heart is for none to perish but all to have eternal life. Do not give way to wickedness and do not compromise. Stand for what is right and good. Point everyone to Me.”
My beautiful God, Lord, we thank You so much for this word. Father, we come in the name of Jesus, and Lord, we ask that You forgive all of us who have spoken out of assumption, presumption, judgment, and criticism.
Sometimes, when we carry Your truth, we feel so prompted to speak, but Lord, sometimes that can come from a place of being judgmental and critical of someone else when we don’t necessarily like them or their opinion.
But Lord, that’s not always based on truth. So we ask, Lord, that You would help us all to return to Your word and have that foundation of what it looks like to speak Your truth and when to speak Your truth when it’s needed.
Lord, Your truth never gives way to wickedness but always stands for righteousness. Your truth always holds hearts to lead people back to You. Help us, Father, to become people who can faithfully share Your words of truth to those around us, so we can snatch them from the fire and those on paths of destruction, bringing them back to Your heart.
In Jesus’ most holy and powerful name,
Amen.
