“Through the course of many trials, I slowly slipped deep into drug and alcohol abuse. For many years, self-medication became a habitual escape from the deep pain of rejection and loss I had experienced. Upon my own prayers and those of my loved ones, I was recently completely delivered from alcohol and drugs. I have no desire or need for any of it any longer. As a result, my marriage is on the mend and the relationship with my kids grows stronger every day. God is good. All the time.“
