This might be a confirmational word for someone. If you have been asking the Lord why you seem to not move forward and why you seem to be delaying and being stuck. It might be because you are resisting what God has already shown you and asked you to do without fully realising it. As I was in prayer, I saw an image of someone on a raft. Now, if you think about white river rafting, this is the scene that I saw. If you’ve ever done white river rafting, you will realize that it’s such a big, massive amount of stream of water going in one direction, and there are rapids and rocks and all those kinds of things that when you’re in the raft, you sometimes need to dodge. But it’s a very, very strong stream. What I saw was this person on the raft. They were putting their oar into the river, trying to stop the raft from going downstream. And as they did, the raft started to rotate. Then, in their own effort, they tried to go back upstream where it is safest or familiar to them. And I heard the Lord say, “Stop resisting My flow.” The Lord gave me this revelation: whatever He has asked this person to do is really challenging for them because whatever it is that they need to let go of is something that is very dear to them, familiar to them, or something they are wrestling with in their mind and heart—thinking, “But this is what God gave me before. This is what God said before.” They are struggling to let go and go down this pathway the Lord is leading them. Now, if you have listened to the previous words I’ve released recently, the Lord was talking a lot about letting go and mindsets that are needing to change. I feel like even if this person knows that they need to do these certain things, they are delaying from letting go because going downstream seems scary, unknown and foreign to them. Again, with white river rafting, it’s not a smooth road. It’s a stream, right? And it’s very rocky. It’s very bumpy. And you still have to swerve here and there away from objects and all of it. So it looks scary. It looks scarier than going back upstream. But the exhaustion of resisting the stream is what is tiring this person out. And it is so counterproductive because they just keep rotating in the same spot and exerting energy going upstream. The stream is going downward, but this person is trying to go upward. If that is you today, the Lord wants to encourage you that He is for you. Perhaps you are struggling to surrender and to let go because you struggle to believe that God is for you. You have a form of understanding that He’s for you, but deep down in your heart, you struggle to believe that He is, because of things you might have walked through in past seasons. You’re doubting whether or not God is for you. The Lord wants me to encourage you today: be of good cheer. He is for you. He’s not against you. He’s taking you with His stream because He is aligning you for what is up ahead for you. He’s aligning you for this next season. Even if it looks scary, even if it looks bumpy, even if it looks uncertain—let go and trust that the Lord knows where He is maneuvering. But if you keep trying to resist, you are just going to delay the freedom you can have by going downstream. Sometimes when you go downstream, you put the oar back into the raft and you just let go and say, “All right, this is a crazy ride, but hey, we’re in.” So don’t be in two minds. You’re either in or out, right? If you get on a raft to go white river rafting, you don’t halfway decide, “I don’t want to do this anymore.” You’re stuck. You have to see it through to the end. And so the Lord is saying, “Are you in or are you out?” If you are wanting God’s best for your life and you’ve asked and prayed for that, then you have to know that moving with God does require change. It requires shifts. It means you go through different seasons. So be all in and go along with the ride because it’s actually going to be safer for you to go downstream on this crazy adventure with the Lord and go to the endpoint rather than trying to go back where you came from. So, my beautiful God, Lord, I thank You so much for this confirmation for whoever this person is who is really wrestling at the moment with going forward in that flow. Lord, help them to realize that they are delaying their own progress when they keep resisting the pathway You’ve already laid out for them. Help them, Lord, to know that You truly are for them. Give them that revelation of Your love. Give them that revelation to know that You already proved Your love for them because You went the furthest distance possible by sacrificing Your own life for them to have them. Throw It Off
As I was reading Hebrews 12:1–2, the Holy Spirit began speaking to me about what He is doing in the body of Christ. This connects with the word I recently released about 2026. I heard the Lord say, “Throw it off.” As I asked what He meant, He began to unpack from...
