Prophetic Word – Mourning The Old, Rejoicing In The New

Hi there 😊,

I love how personal and involved the Lord is. He always listens to our conversations and give us words of encouragement. The Lord showed up, as He does, while I was having a conversation with a friend yesterday regarding the times we are in. He spoke such encouraging and timely words regarding the present circumstances in the world and He has led me to share with you. If you have not watched the video yet, you can do so below:

Here is what the Lord shared as a reminder:

“You are created in My image, therefore you are a creator. You create the world around you with your thoughts and words. My promises are words spoken waiting for the fulfillment of time. You have everything you need, march with strength. Don’t give the enemy a seat at your table. The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our God through Christ.”

Matthew 6:7-8 (KJV) – But when you pray use not vain repetitions as the heathen do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye need of, before you ask Him.

God has a plan with all of this, with everything we are currently facing in the world. The story is far from over. So take heart, gird up your loins and cross over. He reminded me of a scripture He gave me two years ago and I believe we are currently walking this out:

Ezra 3:11-13 (NIV) – With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord: “He is good; His love toward Israel endures forever”. And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. But many of the older priests and Levites and family heads, who had seen the former temple, wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid, while many others shouted for joy. No one could distinguish the sound of the shouts of joy from the sound of weeping, because the people made so much noise. And the sound was heard far away.

We are currently mourning when we look at the new “foundations” because we are remembering what the former glory of things looked like and we know it won’t be the same again. However, the new foundations are being laid in a new way. It will be different but there will still be joy over the new things and ways of what God’s doing and how He is moving. So it is okay to mourn the loss of yesterday, but don’t stay in that place too long, so we can rejoice with those who did not see the former but will live in the new, because that is where God is now. So our reality needs to align with His Spirit reality now to see that manifest physically.

Be blessed 😊
