Seeing The Numbers 131 And 121 Repeatedly

Seeing the numbers 131 and 121 repeatedly…

Recently God has been highlighting the numbers 131 and 121 to me. I have been seeing those numbers daily on the clock and license plates. I asked the Lord what He was trying to tell me and He said Psalm 131 and Psalm 121…

Psalm 131 (TPT):

Lord, my heart is meek before you.

I don’t consider myself better than others.

I’m content to not pursue matters that are over my head—

such as your complex mysteries and wonders—

that I’m not yet ready to understand.

I am humbled and quieted in your presence.

Like a contented child who rests on its mother’s lap,

I’m your resting child and my soul is content in you.

O people of God, your time has come to quietly trust,

waiting upon the Lord now and forever.

The Lord has been speaking to me the past few weeks that we as the body of Christ need to remain in faith and trust, more than we ever have. Much “shaking” is taking place in the earth just like God said. The shaking has caused much fear, discouragement, and uncertainty in the hearts of some believers. Many have questioned God’s Word, His character and His nature because of the intense weariness, discouragement, and uncertainty they are facing. The Lord said in the shaking many foundations will be exposed that were built on the world instead of Him. A great unraveling and revealing of hearts and their foundations are taking place. It is one thing to say you have trust and belief in God, and another to actually walk that out.

Many are crying out to God in confusion and not knowing which way to go. The voices of the enemy have become very strong and it has been hard to navigate through the “noise”. But God is saying “Keep trusting Me, keep believing what I spoke to you, Keep your eyes fixed on Me and Me alone.” In Psalm 131 the Lord highlighted to remain calm and rested in our inner man. Many have tried to figure out what God is doing and what is going on in the world and their situations. But God is saying to stop the over-analyzing and overthinking as you will not be able to figure out His complex mysteries and wonders.

God is on the move and He is working behind the scenes where we don’t see. Faith means to believe and keep believing even when it makes no sense, or when it is not seen physically yet. Just like a child resting on the mother’s lap, God wants us to just rest on His lap. To be quiet in our hearts and not allow the craziness that is taking place around us to disturb our inner peace in Him. We are to put our hope in God and God alone and not in the systems or ways of the world.

Now is the time for our foundations to be exposed so that we can see what we really believe and who we really believe in. And if our foundations are built on anything other than God and trusting in His nature and His Word regardless of what we see, then we have to work with Him to keep tearing down those wrong foundations so that we can be built on Him in every area of our lives. Remember, it is God who gives us all things, and He watches over us more than He watches over the sparrows. Your current situation is no surprise to God, therefore you should not lose heart. It might not be and look the way you want it, but it has never been about you anyway. It has been about Him and His Kingdom and His Righteousness.

Hand over your burdens, frustration, heaviness, discouragement, fear and confusion to Him. Set your mind and keep it set to remain in His peace and His strength. Get your focus and attention back on Jesus and in what He is saying and then stand on His word with boldness and courage and continue to stand. He won’t fail you.

 Psalm 121 (NIV)

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—

where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
He who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, He who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
He will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

The Lord keeps highlighting with Psalm 121 to lift our eyes on Him, as our help comes from Him and Him alone. Our help does not come from the systems of this world, as the systems of this world are fragile, corrupt and unstable. Nothing in all creation can help you except God. Even if temporary relief may come from the world, it will not sustain you and it will take you down with it when it crumbles. If you need food, God will provide. If you need clothes, God will provide. He knows what you need. He does not slumber nor sleep but He continuously watches over you and He won’t stop. Lift up your needs to Him, then wait on Him. If He tells you to do something, then do it. If you see needs around you and He asks you to help meet those needs, then do it. Do not withhold your hand as He does not withhold His hand from you. Give as He leads and instructs you. You just might be the answer to someone’s prayer. And remember, give thanks in all things and all circumstances. Even if you have nothing of earthly value, the price Jesus paid for you is the best treasure, gift and possession you will ever receive.

Hold on to Him and never stop hoping or believing in Him. The narrow road is not easy but it does lead to life. The wide road is easy but in the end it leads to death. Nothing is more valuable than your spirit. Your body will pass away, your possessions will pass away, your relationships will pass away, the earth will pass away. Don’t trade spending eternity with Jesus for temporary mortal satisfaction. God asks for endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. Stay strong in His courage and might brothers and sisters, for He cares for you and watches over you.

Be blessed 😊
