Prophetic Word – Come Back To Basics (30 October 2023)

The Lord gave this prophetic word for me to release today for the body of Christ. Sometimes we just need to come back to the simplicity and basics.

God said: “My children, come to the basics. What are the basics you may ask? Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and all your strength. Then love your neighbour as yourself. Many of My children have forgotten what this means: I desire mercy not sacrifice, acknowledgement of Me in their everyday life rather than offerings. Don’t My people understand? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of God is understanding.

My people, what do you toil and labour for so burdensomely? Do you not know that true refreshment of your soul comes from Me and Me alone? True rest can only be obtained in My presence. Take time to rest from your toil to sit with Me. Spend time with Me and I will refresh your soul. Do not allow the busyness of life to stop you from entering into My courts. Make Me your life’s priority and see how things fall into place for you. Do I not lead and guide those who ask and draw near to hear what I have to say? I determine a man’s steps. You might have your plans, but I know how to lead you through life. Come close and listen. My love will teach you how to love others well. Rejoice in My delight over you. I have loved you with an everlasting love and I have drawn you with loving kindness.”
