Let Hope Rise

Proverbs 13:12 (NLT)

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.

Let Hope Rise!

This morning during prayer I heard the Lord say: “Let hope rise”.

There is a fresh call from the Lord’s heart to His people to hope again and to believe again. Many have walked through deep waters lately and any hope for deliverance and a turn-around has been “suffocated” in their hearts. The disappointment from their previous season has left them wondering if God will ever come through for them and if the words spoken to the Lord to them will ever manifest. They have received many confirmations from the Lord and prophetic words related to their breakthrough and promises, and yet they were disappointed time and time again, as they did not see the fulfillment and turn-around that they expected, hoped, and believed for.

There has been a deep hidden doubt in them as to whether or not they can trust God again and trust what He says, as things have been looking so contrary and opposite than expected. They almost don’t want to believe again. They don’t want to hope again, fearing that they will be disappointed again, as the disappointment has left a deep woundedness in their hearts that seem to not heal. It has worn them down and made them feel weary and exhausted.

But God is encouraging them to hope again, to believe again, to shake off the disappointment of their expectations not being met. The Lord has His ways and His appointed timing. He knows and understands what we do not know or understand. God is on the move! He is moving and shaking things up. He is removing the “old” and getting ready to pour out the “new”.

Don’t let the disappointment from the previous season stop you from receiving all God has for you this year. Believe again. Trust again. Because He who promised is faithful to fulfill and establish you in all things. Things will not be the same this year. Things will be different.

Two scriptures keep resounding in my heart:

Matthew 9:29 (NIV) – Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”

Mark 5:34 (NIV) – He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.

Keep your faith and trust strong in the Lord. Don’t try and figure out how things will be different or how He will move on your behalf. Surrender your “control” again at the feet of Jesus and believe Him to fulfill what He has spoken and to change things around for you.

My prayer for you this day is that your heart will be refreshed, renewed, rejuvenated with new life. May any hope deferred, brokenness, despair and weariness drop off from you in Jesus’ Name!

Be blessed 😊
