A Spirit Of Excellence

Colossians 3:23 (NIV)

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men

Hi there 😊,

The Lord dropped “a spirit of excellence” in my spirit. As we are coming to the end of December 2021, we sometimes have a tendency to become relaxed and not finish some of those things God asked us to completer. Colossians 3:23 (NIV) – Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.

Sometimes we can become so fixated on what is next that we lose sight of the things we have not finished or completed yet. Luke 16:10 (AMP) – He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much, and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much. God calls us to have a spirit of excellence in everything we do for Him, whether it be our words, our thoughts, an assignment we need to finish, a work project that needs completion, etc.

The Bible teaches us that when we are faithful with a little, we can be trusted with much. Don’t become complacent but finish those things God has asked you to finish and do. When we are faithful with what He has asked us to do, then He can give us more. Faithful stewardship is a hallmark of the Kingdom. So, take some time and think about those loose ends that need tidying and finish 2021 well.
