Prophetic Word-Step In, The Waters Will Part

Joshua 3:14-17- Amplified Bible

14 So when the people set out from their tents to cross over the Jordan with the priests who were carrying the ark of the covenant before the people, 15 and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests carrying the ark were submerged at the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all of its banks throughout the time of harvest), 16 the waters which were flowing down from above stopped and rose up in one mass a great distance away at [a]Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan. Those [waters] flowing downward toward the sea of the Arabah, the [b]Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed [the river] opposite Jericho. 17 And while all [the people of] Israel crossed over on dry ground, the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan [riverbed], until all the nation had finished crossing over the Jordan.

While spending time with Jesus, I was shown a vision of some people in the body of Christ. They seemed to be approaching a river’s edge, meant to cross over. Upon reaching the river, they dipped their toes into the water, testing its depth. Finding it surprisingly deep, they held back, unsure of how to navigate such a challenging path. Fearful of being swept away or drowned, they remained stuck on the riverbank. Then, the Lord began to speak, and the Holy Spirit urged them to take a step forward. Those who heeded the Lord’s words took a step, and just like in the story of Joshua, the waters parted. They successfully crossed to the other side, unharmed by the powerful downstream currents. The Lord revealed to me that many feel stuck, unsure of how to progress in their journey with Him. God has already instructed them to cross over, but their path seems blocked and unattainable. However, God urges them to take a step, promising to pave the way for them. If you’re in this situation today, take that step in faith and watch the Lord part the waters for you.
