Prophetic Word – Time to Stop Playing Church (August 25th, 2023)

My Child,

I do not want your sacrifice, I want your obedience.

Your heart is more precious to me than anything else you can offer me.

 Jesus came to set the captives free and yet I see many of my children continuing to get stuck into the loop of religious behavior.

Just as in Jeremiah 7 where the messaging was clear to My people, so I wish to speak a course correction to My children today.

I am not taking attendance at church, nor am I keeping accounts of how much you tithe or give to the needy – for it is your obedience and your heart that I desire.

I sent Jesus that you and I would be reconciled to right relationship, that you would know Me and be able to come directly to me. There will always be chatter and distractions vying for your attention and your heart, as the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy; but I have come, says the Lord, that you may have life and life abundantly.

I do not want My children to play church.

I want your hearts to beat in time with mine, that you may worship Me and hear My plans, desires and thoughts I have towards you – plans for good and not to harm you. I am looking for My people to be My hands and feet to those I put in their path – that they may know me by your love for one another.

The time is short and the spirit of division has caused much damage amongst My body and I long to see My children reconciled to Me and to each other.

True repentance is a heart posture that will allow Me to put in you a clean heart.

Jesus died and rose again that you may approach My throne of grace and be set back on the path I have set for you.

It is the righteousness of My Son, Jesus – not yours – that will allow My Spirit to shape you and mold you into who I have created you to be.

Much work is needing to be done in this time in history, and I need My body of believers in a heart posture to hear My voice clearly, to be willing to sit at My feet reading My living Word as I unpack divine strategies and blueprints for what is to come.

I love you My child with an everlasting love and want for you to walk perfectly in time with Me all of your days.
